Since San Francisco during the "summer" months is usually cold and foggy I live for the weekends I can jump into the warm, clear waters of the Yuba River, or any body of water, really. We rented a cabin near the middle and south forks of the Yuba river at Willow Creek joined by Kim, Brian, Mandy, Cameron and Sucio & Yari. We set out along Canyon Creek trail and checked out two swimming holes along the trail. The first was pretty nice but the second was definitely more beautiful.
Unlike Yari, Sucio was fearless in the water. She sure loves to "save you" from drowning though :)
Sucio and Yari battled all weekend and spooned on the couch to sleep it off.
The next day we hiked along Hoyt's trail by the old highway 49 bridge. Hoyt's crossing was a pretty wide and flat hole (no big rocks to jump off from) and the nudist area so we hiked back to a couple other enticing spots.
